I'll be visiting London next month and would like to stop in at one of the tourist info centers in London. I'm looking at the "Visit London" site and it says there is one in the Piccadilly Circus Tube station. I've taken the Tube there several times but can't say I've ever noticed a visitor center. Can anyone help me find this? Thanks!
I have never seen it but apparently it's there. It's only open three days a week.
I saw it when I was recently in London. It's in the Underground station. I needed to check something on my Oyster card so I followed the signs to get there. They were very helpful.
It is only a kiosk that you queue up at to ask questions or request literature etc. It is run by TfL.
There once was a large centre in Lower Regent Street run by Visit Britain which had a large browsing area plus desks for various other agencies. This disappeared in the 2010s as part of austerity.

I remember that one. It was the first thing I thought of but knew it bit the dust years ago.
There was also a smaller one at Victoria Station.
I don't think there's a traditional tourist information office anywhere in London. It's frustrating.
a pretty good one is across the street - south side - from St Pauls Cathedral, across St Pauls Churchyard, the name for the main road that comes up Ludgate Hill and makes its way to the Tower of London.
It is near the St Pauls end of the (wobbly) Millenium Bridge.

They really have a lot of different bits of literature and helpful staff....
Open Mon to Sat: 9.30am-5.30pm / Sun: 10am - 4pm
Not in Piccadilly Circus though
Thanks, Nigel. I'll make a record of that location.
Thank you, everyone. I really just want to pick up some literature. I'll head for the one at St. Paul's.
