Tour Windsor & Stonehenge from Heathrow

We are staying at Heathrow Airport hotel last week of May. Want to tour Windsor and Stonehenge without having to go to Victoria Station to board bus. Any suggestions on how to originate from Heathrow? I see private cars at $350 per person but that is out of my budget.

Doing both independently in the same day would be tough.

But there are 4 or 5 buses an hour from Terminal 5 to Windsor.

Salisbury is also easy. There is a coach bus numbered 730 which departs Heathrow hourly to Basingstoke Station- journey time 1:15.

It costs £4 each way.

From Basingstoke take a train to Salisbury every 1/2 hour- 40 minute journey. Then the Stonehenge tour bus- https://www.thestonehengetour.info/

In any event you would use London Waterloo for trains to Stonehenge and London Paddington for Windsor (with other Windsor trains going from Waterloo).

For neither destination do you need a guide.

These would not be two places to see in one day.
For Windsor, you don't need a tour. It's all a very small area; train station, castle, town, Windsor Great Park.

To Stonehenge, take the train from Heathrow to Salisbury. Enjoy Salisbury, see the cathedral and the the Stonehenge bus tour from there. Look up The Stonehenge Tour.
