Tour or private Guide from London to Bath and Windsor castle.

Alas their Windsor Castle and Eton tour hasn’t started back up again BUT they do an all day Bath tour.

Over the years I’ve enjoyed many of the London Walks tours; most recently ( July ), The Inns of the Court. Their tours and guides are top notch.

I’d sign up for their Bath tour.

To me Bath and Windsor Castle on the same day tour are too much. I’d go with Claudia’s suggestion of London Walks for Bath although it pretty easy to do on your own. Then do a day trip via train from London to Windsor for 1/2 a day also easy for a first-timer.

Windsor Castle is really easy to do on your own. A train from London takes you very close, if you go from Paddington via Slough the little shuttle train drops you opposite the entrance.

All the information about a visit is on line, on the official website, so you can plan your visit from home. The property is well signed and plenty of good information and there are plenty of uniformed staff in every part of the property..

I think spending money to have somebody take you there might be unnecessary, but maybe you prefer to have somebody tell you things instead of reading..... different people absorb information differently.
