I am trying to find a day tour that concentrates on just Bath. I see most tours have 2 or 3 stops thus limiting time there. . I'd like extra time to have a better experience taking in the Bath sites.
I can understand wanting someone else to do the transportation and organizing but this is an easy, straightforward day trip from London. You’d take a train from Paddington Station to Bath Spa. The journey is about 1h20m.
You can download the app for Great Western Trains which is the company on this route and purchase a “return” ticket (there and back).
The walk from the train station to the Roman Baths and Abbey is also easy.

Been going to London for years. Never miss taking one of the London Walks, ( www.walks.com) Never been disappointed.
Hopefully this Bath walk will fit into your travel dates and be of interest.
As noted, this is one of the world's easiest trips. I just did it last month, you get on the train at Paddington, get off at Bath spa, walk around to your heart's delight, get back on the train.
the Man in Seat 61 has an explainer and a video on his site. If you feel the need, consider hiring a guide while you're there. I found the way the Baths tour is set up, it takes longer than you need to actually see them. The Bath Abbey is very nice, spend time looking at the floor and the windows. The walk up the hill to the Royal Crescent can be a slog if you have trouble walking, but it's worth it.
Depending on the time of year, you can either purchase tickets in advance or just walk up (I just walked up and in).
If you do decide to try getting there on your own (it is as simple as already suggested) there is a free walking tour twice a day that is very good.

If you have time to visit the Roman Baths, the audio guide is very informative. We spent about 3 hours inside.
Go by train from London (Paddington). See video >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpp6vAs2W4I
Thanks for the information. Much appreciated!
