Tour and Evensong at Saint Paul’s

We are planning on touring Saint Paul’s on our last day in London and I would like to attend Evensong. I understand the typical time to tour the Cathedral is two hours but if we stay for the service what time should we try I be in our seat for that? I have no idea what the attendance may be and does anyone know the approximate length of the service?

We went to Evensong yesterday and arrived just as it was starting. We found seats easily, although I would have preferred to have been there a little earlier. The service lasted about 45 minutes.
