Top things that must be pre-booked before arrival?

I have Eurostar tickets booked for
Our day in Paris(whole tour so a I don’t have to do anything else) and the Harry Potter studio tour.

I want to book Tower of London and London eye flexi Ticket so we can go anytime on a specific day. If we do changing of guards Monday what time would you book Churchill war room if we do that after (maybe need time for lunch in between? Is that anywhere near each other or would you combine something else on changing of guard day?

I would probably opt for The Sky Garden over the London Eye as I just prefer the ambiance and it's free although admittedly you don't get the Westminster views. That needs to be booked as soon as tickets are released. From memory that's 3 weeks in advance but double check as I might be wrong.

Hi Ryan (or Gill) yes thank you for reminding me! I’ve been checking the site but you are right you can only book three weeks out but I will absolutely try to snag a spot for us! We also want to do the London eye for sure. I went 19.5 years ago when it was so new and I didn’t have time but this time I’m bringing my almost
12 yr old and I feel like there are a lot of adult things we are doing so this feels more “kid” attraction so a I want to go.

I’ve never pre-booked anything in London and have not waited more than 10 minutes in any line. However, I’m generally there in late November or early December; not prime tourist season. I do agree with the Sky Garden comment. If you miss getting tickets ahead of time, it’s open for anybody without a ticket after 9:30 pm each evening. That’s how we saw it since we didn’t know when we’d be in that part of town.

The only other things that I would say should be pre-booked are theatre tickets, and tickets for high-demand temporary exhibitions at major art galleries and museums.

Thanks! Yes forgot that we did buy theatre tickets already but haven’t looked into exhibits at museums.
