We will be in London next July, and I want to get tickets to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The theater website states it is already sold out. Any ideas on how I can get four tickets? Thanks for any guidance.
Tickets have been sold out for nearly a year, and is pretty much sold out through next year. I managed to buy tickets the day they went on sale last October.
The only legitimate way to get tickets is via www.harrypottertheplay.com. There used to be a wishlist feature where you could sign up for tickets for a specific day and they would email you if someone returned theirs. Now you have to check each day to see if any days have availability. They do release 40 tickets each Friday, but that may be for the day of only, and you can only buy 2. Or you can line up at the theater box office at early o'clock in the day in hopes that there may be a return.
Even if you have the chance, don't buy from a company like Stub Hub or Ticketmaster. Anyone picking up tickets at the box office has to show the card they booked with or photo ID, and people have been turned away and told to contact the reseller for a refund.
