Tickets for new London Museum now available

It’s been mentioned on here before but I had today an email announcing tickets now available:

“London Museum opens its new home in Smithfield on Saturday 28 November 2026, with free general admission tickets available to book online today.”

“Tickets are available through to the end of December, with a limited number of walk-up tickets each day.”

Admission is free. Tickets are no cost. But they are using a timed entry system at least initially.

The previous version was a great introduction to the history etc. of this wonderful city. Looking forward to this new one!

Thank you. I enjoyed this museum in its prior location. I'll have to check it out when I am back in London in April.

Me too. We have tickets to the Queen's Life in Fashion in April and now we can go to the Museum of London as well. We visited it in 2018 and thought it was underrated compared to the British Museum. I'm putting it on the list.

Thank you for this. I’m disappointed about needing tickets—yet another arrangement, another scheduled Thing—but I’m grateful for the heads-up. I would have felt worse if I’d been unable to go. We’ve been looking forward to the reopening.

I went in the old location and it was a great museum that is luckily overlooked by many tourists and was never as busy as the others. A definite must for anyone interested in London history.
