We are going to be in London the end of May. We are interested in attending the Ceremony of the Keys. I understand the tickets will be released on Monday, April 3rd. Does anyone have a good idea what time the tickets are available for purchase? I have seen midday, but also have seen earlier times posted here. I’m in Colorado, so I’m not sure if I should stay up super late or get up super early! Thanks in advance for any advice!
I believe they are released at (around) 9:00am London time (the website doesn't mention a specific time) ... I wanted tickets for an April date so on March 1st I went to the website at 3am (6 hours behind London time), and tickets were already available ... I was number 200-something in the queue, but it moves quickly and 20 minutes later I got my date ... when I checked later that morning there were only a few dates left and only 1 or 2 tickets for that date ... there is a previous thread in this forum discussing this topic a few months ago where some shared their experiences (both practicing for tickets and actually getting tickets), I suggest you read it, could have more information that might be helpful ... if I were you, I'd start trying around 1:30am Mountain time and stay with it until you score tickets ... good luck, I hope you get tickets for the date you want.
Thanks for the reply. I will plan to start trying for tickets around 2:00 a.m. mountain time on April 3rd. I’ll post if I’m successful or not!
Saturday may not be a working day in the UK but tickets were released this morning, 1 April. By 0847 ticket buying was in full flow, had started some time after 0810.
I had clicked on a date then, just left it, and was automatically queued. I went away to do something else so don't know when it actually opened.
By 0930 there were 63 people in the queue- estimated 4 minute wait time, so it does move fast.
I'm not buying- was just checking for the forum.
I'm on the site now (noon in London time) and while there was a wait to get in the queue it does not appear that any tickets are actually open for purchase for May. Back to bed!
That is bad. They have a queue running, but have not released tickets into that queue- just tried it at 1250, 283 people ahead of me, 12 minute wait . There will be a lot of frustrated users this morning. So wait for Monday morning now, everyone will be sat in the queue super early
I just got tickets! Monday, May 1 was a Bank Holiday in England so no tickets were sold. This morning I signed on every hour starting at 4:00am EST. I got into a queue around 8:30 am EST but always got an error message after adding tickets to basket. Tried again at 10:00 EST, got through and secured tickets. Such a frustrating process but happy it finally worked. There were still many open dates as of 10 min ago. Good Luck!!!
