The Nadler Hotel in London

I am considering staying at the Nadler Kensington because they offer a special singles rate of 109 GBP per night. The reviews on TripAdvisor and booking.com are mostly glowing. My question is whether this location is advisable/convenient. I have been to London before and stayed at the Lime Tree hotel, but they only have 1 single room available for my dates and they want to charge me 150 GBP per night. The Nadler is located at 25 Courtfield Gardens and is about a 5 minute walk to the Earl's Court underground station. Would you recommend this location? Thank you all in advance for your advise.

The hotel used to be called Base2Stay and had great reviews then as well.

I'm planning on staying there later this year.

When I'm in London, I always stay in the South Kensington/Earl's Court area. It's just the right mix of residential and tourist. Depending on time of day it can be about 10-20 minutes into "downtown" London. Earl's Court Rd has just about everything you may need from shops to pubs to restaurants.

If you don't need the mini-kitchen, you may want to check out the Premier Inn just two blocks north of the Nadler. It's part of a huge chain and also gets good reviews. They have a restaurant if that interests you.

My husband and I have stayed there three times. The location is great, close to the Earls Court tube station, coffee shop, and grocery store for dinner if you want to stay in. We frequently pick up yogurt and juice for breakfast and salads for dinner and take advantage of the 'kitchen in a closet'. The hotel has always been clean and the neighborhood is very nice, even close enough for me to run to Kensington Park in the morning.

I received an email from them a couple days ago advertising special rates if you reserve now. Sorry, don't remember the details but it looked like a good deal.

I've stayed there twice as a solo woman traveler and I love it there. I plan to stay there again this year. The staff are friendly and helpful, yet also professional. The rooms are really nice and comfortable. It's a convenient walk to the Earl's Court tube station, which is on the Piccadilly line and hence a direct route to/from Heathrow - no need for tube transfer with your luggage. I highly recommend the Nadler Kensington.

I stayed there as a solo woman when it was called Base2Stay and loved it.. comfy rooms, comfy bed with nice duvet, clean modern bathroom.. nice staff.. and yes.. GREAT location. Within easy walk of TWO stations so access to lines to get you many places and within walking distance to two grocery stores and best of us ( for me) was within walking distance to the Victoria And Albert Museum and Natural History Museum.
On a quiet street.. but not so quiet I felt creepy walking home to it after dark alone.
That's a good rate and I would snap it up!
