The Lakeland Model Village

This is a new tourist attraction, recently opened, in the grounds of the Damson Dene Hotel at Crosthwaite, by Windermere.

This is a different Crosthwaite to the one on the outskirts of Keswick.

It is only accessible with a car, there is no bus service gets anywhere near.

It has miniatures, made of local slate, of over 100 buildings in the Lake District.

It was previously in someone's back garden at Flookburgh (near Cartmel).
