I bet the OP deleted because people in this forum weren't "classy" and "didn't care about his discomfort"(despite numerous posts saying they were sorry he had a bad experience).

In most of these situations, we never find out.

Didn’t even notice it was gone. My guess is that OP deleted it. He seemed disappointed that the forum wasn’t more supportive of his situation. He also deleted some of his posts in that thread that implied some lon time members were basically shills for RS.

If the webmaster deleted it we’ll probably see him post about how RS doesn’t allow criticism on the forum.

Well, I had thought of another remark to add to that roommate thread so am crushed I can't post.

I was going to say that my current life goal is to do enough RS tours that I earn enough of the "$50 off each tour deal" that I have a free singe supplement. Some of my friends...ahem...are already at that status. I've got $500 off my next tour....so need another few to get me to that frequent flyer status!

There was also the singles know your place thread. Started by someone who thought a fellow tour member was paying too much attention to his wife.

Moving on....

I think the "what every first time tour member should know" was useful information and other threads mentioned having the same issues on that tour. In contrast, the roommate situation would not be unexpected by most people.

This Forum has made me realize that I was/am an absolutely horrible roommate and that my husband must really love me!
