just a note to say that the owners advised yesterday that their last day of trading will be 2 November 2025, due in part to a significant rent increase.
So really just to say that the above noted thread is superceded, in case anyone else was thinking of visiting there.
In some ways just another pub closure, in other ways to those who live in the valley and those of us who know the place a very poignant moment. And desperately sad for the owners. There is a human story behind each such closure.
I have PM'd the OP of the above thread, as he had to postpone at the time and was planning a visit at a future date- now apparently not to be, unless a miracle occurs.
