We are planning on spending three days in the Cotswolds before heading to Birmingham. Does anyone have suggestions of where to make our homebase or should we. Thanks
Will you have a car?
I'll cast a vote for Chipping Camden whether or not you're hiring a car, but especially if you are not. Hiking through the sheep fields between villages is a treat if the weather cooperates (meaning, light intermittent rain vs a soft but steady downpour the day long), but worst-case scenario you could spend the whole time in CC and come away feeling as though you'd got the gist of Cotswolds.
Yes we will have a car. We are now thinking of doing Birmingham first and then travelling to Isleworth to see relatives via the Cotswolds. Did not realize the Cotswolds were south of Birmingham
Hi Millen,
Below is our long and related TR. I am confident that among the music and imagery, there are logistical tips that'll inform your decision-making. Over on Fodors, I go by 'zebec'.
Best of luck!
I am done. The end.
