Has anyone stayed at the Carpenters Arms in Newbury, England? We are considering it for a one night stay and would appreciate any feedback from Rick Steve followers!!

We stayed at a B&B in Stockcross which is near Newbury--sorry but I can't remember the name but Stockcross is small and probably has few B&B's. We went through Newbury and it looked busy and congested and not especially appealing. The owners of the B&B had several rooms within the house and were in the process of converting a barn into rooms. It was the type of place that Karen Brown would have in her listings. Very nice breakfast and our room looked out to a field with horses grazing.
