We just got back from our trip to London. We’ve been there several times and we made our first trip to the bunker. I would highly recommend spending the time to visit the site. The commentary was excellent and the bunker was jaw dropping. It’s at the end of the tube line at Uxbridge. I would recommend taking a taxi from the tube station as it’s a little confusing if you’re walking. It’s at the old RAF Uxbridge base. Hope everyone has safe travels.

Thank you Craig, that is new to me! It looks excellent! I've added it to my "never-ending list" of Things to do next time in London, hahaha!
I finally made it to Bletchley Park earlier this month and it was so good, so Uxbridge is now on the list as well. Point well taken about getting a taxi from the tube stop.
how did you manage with the stairs? Was it claustrophobic?
The stairs were taken slowly. We’re both in our very senior years and they weren’t too bad. We had stairs everywhere we went in London. These were no worse than any others there.
