The Bartholomew Fair -London 31 August to 16 September

This new event featuring over three weeks of free stunning performances and cultural events is to be held in the City of London.

It was held annually on St Bartholomew's Day- 24 August- from the year 1133 until 1855 when it was banned by the City Authorities for "encouraging debauchery and public disorder."

With its previous history of, as you say, "encouraging debauchery and public disorder.", what could possibly go wrong?
