Last month I asked for input regarding my two scheduled England tours since I recently had a flare up of an chronic knee condition. Thank you to the many who were so kind to respond to my dilemma. Update: I went ahead as planned after having had 3 OrthoVisc and 1 cortisone injections armed with a cane, meds, ice bag, TENS unit and had a great trip. Took all steps one at a time, lift when available, husband handled my suitcase. I only missed out on one or two country walks. Thank you for all your suggestions! I'm so glad I went!
Hooray! I'm glad it all worked out.
You are a trooper! I'm so glad everything went well.
Excellent news. Bravo for going.
Would love to know what you enjoyed the most while there.
That's fantastic news! GOOD for you!!!
What was your favorite part of your adventure?
In response to what I enjoyed the most.....on the Best of Great Britain my favorite would be Vindolanda, a Roman fort excavation site. Best food was an Eastern European restaurant in York, Barbacon I think, where we enjoyed authentic homemade awesome pierogies. The Best of London? That's a tough one! I think I was most wowed hearing the Royal Philharmonic perform the music of Queen (not part of the tour). " 5 Guys Named Moe" at the Marble Arch Theatre was also fabulous as was "Evita." We did the London Eye on a super clear day, also great! Our dinner group of seven all loved eating at "L'Autre", a Mexican and Polish bistro in Mayfair. We loved the pierogies and kielbasa. Another top of the list item was The Globe Theatre tour with a fabulous guide! Wish we had seen a play there...next time for sure!
