We are thinking of doing Windsor in the morning, and Hampton Court Palace in the afternoon. Are taxi's available in Windsor to take us to Hampton Court Palace? Thank you!

That’s a 15 mile trip. Not going to be an inexpensive taxi ride. Will take at least 30 minutes from Windsor to Hampton Court.
Both places take a good deal of time to explore and appreciate.

The main taxi ranks are Thames Street, Windsor (outside Windsor Castle); Farm Yard, Windsor (outside Windsor and Eton Riverside Station).
I can see immediately two taxi companies who you can book on line- https://www.windsortaxis.co.uk/
and https://royalwindsorcars.co.uk/
The latter quotes £54 for the journey.

It can be done, but are you sure? Both are big users of time and tiring, and both are not inexpensive. That's a lot to pack into one day.

I would also consider doing it in reverse as Windsor Castle tends to pack out early on with coach tours "doing" the Windsor-Bath-Stonehenge triangle. Both are closed relatively early.

The answer is yes. At least on the one day in history when I was at Windsor Castle, there were taxis available. I would probably use Uber myself.
