We will be arriving by train in Newbury at 11:44 AM. We have a 1:00 reservation at Highclere Castle so we will need a taxi from Newbury to Highclere. We will probably also book it for the return to Newbury. Does anyone have a taxi company suggestion? How much should we pay?

Since your time is tight, call ahead to reserve a taxi to meet you when your train pulls in. Newbury station has a taxi stand, but in the middle of the day there might not be very many available to hail right then & there.

It may be helpful to contact the tourism office in Newbury to ask for contact information on taxi companies.
