I’ll be landing at Heathrow @noon on a Thursday and want to just hop a cab into London - Bloomsbury area. What can I expect to pay?

We were going to get a cab into London near Hyde Park when the planned train strike was going to cancel the Heathrow Express the day of arrival. Pre booking price was 70 pounds I believe. We’ve since changed plans now that the strike is canceled and will take the train to Paddington since our hotel is only a few blocks away.

Prebookng a car service will cost less than hailing a cab. Expect around 100 GBP for the taxi depending on time of day.
My suggestion, pre-book a vehicle. They will monitor your flight in case of delays, and meet you as you exit customs. You know the price ahead of time.
