We are travelling to the UK in July which includes six days/nights in London. We have the opportunity to use points for our hotel in London and we are wondering about the area we'll be situated in. It's the Best Western Swiss Cottage - looks nice enough, includes breakfast, free wifi, etc. and close to a tube stop. Does anyone have advice regarding the area? Thanks so much.
It's a fairly mid-market inner London suburb - not hugely characterful but not sleazy either.
I've stayed at the Regents park Marriott twice. Swiss Cottage is fine. Sweet cafe in the library. If you are walkers its a nice stroll from there to Primrose Hill and onto Regents Park. Beautiful homes. Liked this spot for a meal http://www.pasticciorestaurant.co.uk/.
