Cotswolds is a huge area. Care to narrow down where you’ll be staying?

Maybe everyone in the world but us knows this, but Sunday Roast is usually served at lunchtime and not dinner. Ask how I found out...

Traditional meal served at Sunday lunchtime. Roast meat (typically beef, pork, lamb or chicken) served with a meat gravy, roast potatoes, vegetables and Yorkshire pudding (traditionally only with beef but now it’s included in every roast that you buy out. I only do them at home with beef).

Just about any pub that serves food will have a roast on Sunday. I suppose quality can vary, but it is pretty straight forward cooking. Trying to separate out "best" might be a fools errand. A decent quality restaurant will have a decent quality roast, maybe the only factor would be choice of meats, not all will have lamb if that is your interest, all will have chicken and beef.

What is Sunday Roast?

It’s a traditional Sunday lunchtime meal involving a roast meat with “ all the trimmings”.
