Suggestions needed for London Food and Sightseeing for 5 days 4 Nights

Hi All,

We will be in Europe this summer and making our final stop in London. We are considering staying in Westminster (open to other location suggestions if there is a better central location). We would like to see the Churchill War museum, the crown jewels, the changing of the guard, Harrods, Notting Hill, and a broadway, westminster Abbey. We also are so excited to go to fun pubs, and the best eats (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) in town! We would love help planning our itinerary best and would LOVE any and all food recommendations! We are huge foodies and love to try cool spots! Please let us know if we are missing anything! Thank you :)

Define cool.

Some pubs serve breakfast. Some don’t.

You going for a traditional English fry up or bubble and squeak for breakfast or just want coffee and pastry?

Here are links regarding street markets and food halls.

Been exploring London environs since the 70’s.

Lucky to visit nearly every year.

London is always changing, always the same.

You might consider Dishoom, which is an incredible restaurant with contemporary Indian cuisine that has a number of locations throughout London. I’ve been to the one in Edinburgh and it’s amazing. They’re open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it’s worth trying each meal there.

And definitely look into any of Yotom Ottolenghi’s restaurants. He is an amazing chef and has created some very interesting menus at his restaurants. I have four of his cookbooks and absolutely love his food.

You also might want to check out the Borough market in South Bank, which has numerous food stalls and an amazing array of choices. Just be careful when you go. Lunchtime can be very very crowded.
