Suggestions for 10 day UK trip

Hey all,
We are planning a 10 day trip to UK with our 10 year old daughter. Yes, we are Potter-heads and undoubtedly, it's going to be in the list of things to see.

Since it's just 10 days and while Scotland is my must see, I will have to save it for a future Scotland only trip.

In England, we are thinking:
London 3 days ?
London 3 days
Manchester 2 days ? (Yes, we are football fans, as well!)

London to Dover 2.5 hours

London to oxford 1.5 hours oxford to stratford upon avne 1.5 hours

Manchester 4.5 hours

Bristol to cotswolds 1.9 hours

Bristol to cornwall 2.5 hours

Or bristol to dorset 2 hours

London to stonehenge 2.5 hours direct drive

We are going to be driving around and would really like to get a feel of the place and the photos look so gorgeous that I am having a tough time choosing.

London, Cotswolds (day trip?), Manchester, Bristol or Oxford, Dorset or Devon

Look forward to your suggestions in simplifying our travel woes.

Fyi, we are traveling in June mid/end.

Thanks!
Vini

No doubt others will have comments. But if you are coming in June, you really need to sort out your tickets to Harry Potter studio tour NOW (if you haven't already). They book up fast.

If you are driving yourself between these places, don't hire a car until you are leaving London. In the larger cities a car is more of a hindrance because of congestion and parking.
I can only speak for Manchester so I would advise using a hotel on the outskirts with easy motorway access and possibly free parking. Then use the excellent public transport to get to the places you want to see.
To the west of the city is that Trafford Centre, a massive indoor shopping/entertainment centre. There are two maybe three Premier Inns within walking distance, plus a Travelodge. It's just off the M60 motorway and there are tram (Metrolink) and bus connections to both football stadiums and the city centre.
The centre is open till 10pm apart from Sunday, lots of places to eat, be entertained and shop.
Obviously, if you decide to use the train, then switch to a city centre hotel.
When driving in the UK, it's all about timing. Avoid the rush hours, 0700-0930 and 1500-1900 if possible.
