We will be leaving Derbyshire to fly home from Heathrow Airport the next day (from Terminal 4) Looking for suggestions on somewhere to stay the night before our flight home. Any must see attractions or close places to visit for 2 adults.

Premier Inn Terminal 4 budget option. Soffitel Hotel terminal 5 splurge option.
People often will visit Windsor or Kew Gardens from Heathrow.

There are a few hotels "connected" to T4.....either right on the grounds or a few minutes walk via a covered walkway...

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express at LHR last June and thought it was quite nice. The price was reasonable, the room was comfortable and the free breakfast adequate.

I've used the Premier Inn T4 several times and been totally satisfied. You have to pay for breakfast, which I've never done, so I can't comment on that.

Those are great suggestions. Thank you. Has anyone done any sightseeing from there or just stayed at the hotel? Maybe we could fit Windsor Castle in that last day before we fly out the next day. If we could get to the hotel in the early afternoon and then go to Windsor.

We went to Windsor a few weeks while overnighting at LHR. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn between terminals 2 and 3. We used the tube / train to get there about $12 one way. Had a nice relaxing afternoon.

In September 2023, we spent the last night of our trip at the Castle Hotel Windsor, before a noon-ish departure from LHR the next day. We dropped off our bags around 1300, and had plenty of time to get lunch and visit the Castle. The taxi arranged by the hotel was late, but we still reached the airport with time to spare.
We loved this hotel, but based on other comments, I would avoid the rooms in the Annex.
