What is a nice area to stay in when exploring Suffolk? We will have 5 days and want to visit Ipswich, Bury St. Edmonds, Woodbridge, Cambridge and maybe Sutton Hoo.

Stowmarket is in the centre of the country, but you could also stay at any of the places that interest you and do day trips by car - it’s not a huge county. Or just look for accommodation that you fancy and stay there.

Bury St Edmond’s is attractive in its own right as well as being fairly well located
