Storing luggage for 1/2 day

Hi Fellow Travelers,

My family is traveling to London/Bath over Easter break. My 18 yr old son is joining us a few days later and he'll be in London ahead of us. He arrives around 10 am and our Air BNB won't be avail until 3pm. Any suggestions about what he can do with his suitcase while he does a little exploring that first day. We'll arrive, meet him somewhere and get our accommodations in the early evening/late afternoon.

Thanks,
Julie C.

Julie,

Check with your BnB, your son may be able to drop off his luggage at the BnB when he arrives, then he can be free to explore London.

He might be able to drop it off where you'll be staying. Hotels do that all the time when rooms aren't ready and the apartment you'll be in might allow it too since they will be cleaning it and making it ready for you. The train stations have storage lockers. If it isn't big, he could even ride around London on a bus to get in some sightseeing in and have the case with him.

Terri Lynn, there are no lockers at the train stations in London. It is a manned left luggage office. You will get a receipt for the bag.

Priscilla...I doubt that an airbnb accommodation, which is not a "b&b", will take luggage early.
Store it according to the suggestion above - easy!
