Does anyone know where I can store luggage for a few hours while in Dover near ferry port or train station?
There is no storage at either ferry port or railway station.
But Stasher have a location on Marine Parade, which is between the ferry and cruise terminals (at the Eastern and Western Docks respectively)- https://www.bing.com/search?pglt=41&q=stasher+dover&cvid=a27a1a5e7f31448d959aa8f80f36c174&aqs=edge..69i57j46j0l5j69i64.4097j0j1&FORM=ANNTA1&PC=U531&cp=51.118852%7E1.324539&lvl=15.0
Just wondering since foot passenger ferries are like hens teeth in Dover, if you want near the ferry port have you got the ferry all sorted out already?
Booked on P&O ferry arrives Dover 11 am. Hope to see castle and then pick up rental car 1700
the 11.00 arrival is usually the newest hybrid ferry the Pioneer. No propellers, no rudders, doesn't even turn around. I hope you enjoy it, but lower your expectations about food service and staff help.
I'd be very interested to see a review from you after the journey because we don't have any recent reviews on foot passenger ferry trips Calais - Dover, or recent ones about P&O since their mass firings.
I have seen a pre-service review of the Pioneer and it looked very impressive so I'd like to know how it is with passengers on board.
I'm sorry that there is no left luggage facility at the Castle. It would be one of the internet based ones as mentioned above.
