Stonehenge Luggage Concerns

My husband and I plan to drive and stop at Stonehenge for a few hours before heading further south to our hotel. We will have all of our luggage, including laptops, with us in the car. We are concerned about our stuff getting stolen.

Is there a place at Stonehenge to lock up or secure your valuables or luggage for a short time? If not, should we book two entry times so that one of us can stay in the car while the other sees Stonehenge? Or is it considered "safe" to park there without concerns about our car being broken into and our stuff being stolen? I suppose at a minimum we could put our laptops and small electronics in a backpack and take them with us.

Thank you in advance for your advice!

Stonehenge is out from Salisbury quite a ways. So there probably would not be a crime of opportunity by a tuff walking by your car. We were in the bus lot & drivers were hanging around. IIDK how the car park is like. Laptops in your backpacks would work. Or maybe covering up your luggage with a blanket?

No lockers that we saw on site in December

Can’t you put every thing in the trunk ( boot ) of the car?

Having been to Stonehenge, I agree with both earlier comments. Suggest putting as much of your valuables as possible in the trunk of the car.

but before you arrive, just in case (I wouldn't expect) prying eyes.
