Stonehenge Inner Circle Tours? From Salisbury or London?

Greetings! I'm behind on planning for an upcoming trip to England in May or June, and I dearly want to go into the inner circle of Stonehenge but do NOT want to rent a car. Given the costs that seem to be involved in getting to Stonehenge without one, and the fact that tours then also include other locations, generally, I'm thinking maybe a tour might be better than booking direct with English Heritage (also have fears I may not get the dates we need this late).

Does anyone have any recommendations of companies/specific tours to use or avoid? I've been to Avebury and Bath (as well as Lacock) so prefer tours that do not include those locations...

Any opinions specifically on stonehengetours.com (as distinct from stonehenge-tours.com), or stonehenge-stone-circle.co.uk?

Thank you in advance for any help!!
Stacy

I ended up booking through the English Heritage site because I couldn't find a tour to go inside the circle with that didn't include several other stops. I haven't quite figured out how we're going to get there and back yet. Someone recommended that we take the train and stay in Salisbury the night before and then get a taxi to Stonehenge. When we're done at the site, we can take a train back to London.

You mean, go back to Salisbury and then take the train back to London, right?
