Hi all,
I came across the following Groupon for a tour of Stonehenge and Bath for 39 pounds per person, regularly 79. My wife and I will be in London in September for 6 full days and we've been trying to fill our itinerary. Is this a good price and is it worth the trip?

Just did Evan Evans tour of Stonehenge and Bath out of Victoria coach station for a student group I was leading. It was fine and did exactly what it represented, but having been there multiple times I would not do it again because it simply does not leave enough time to really SEE Bath. Too much in one day. If you want to say you've been there, fine, but you will only have a few hours at most to wander Bath. The price is quite good in my opinion.
I think Tim's point is a good one: trying to do both Stonehenge and Bath in one day, from London, ends up short-changing you in Bath. There are alternative ways of seeing both, without cramming too much into an exhausting day where you don't see what you wanted.
Thanks for the information. The price does seem fair given that Stonehenge alone is £15. I really don't care to see Stonehenge myself, but my wife insists that we see it :)
