We are interested in doing a quick trip to Stonehenge from Bath. I know that there are tours that do that. Anyone taken them and, if so, should we reserve in advance? We are travelling in July.

we did a reserved time slot early morning and drove from Bath. you have to fax a form on the Stonehenge site to them and it is a bit more expensive but i thought it was amazing. our family was there in and around the stones for almost an hour with only 10 other people and the knowledgeable guards. if you have a car, i'd recommend that. if not, i am not sure on a good tour, sorry!
