Staying on Frith Street in London

My family and I are (2 16 year olds and my husband) are taking our first trip to London and staying in an Air B&B place on Frith Street in Soho. Hoping I made the right choice! The owner has been very nice and it looks like a very active part of the city which everyone in my family wanted. Any suggestions on where to eat in the area?

Thank you Emma - this is really helpful! It was difficult for me to get all the info you provided in such a succinct manner from all that I'd been reading (and some of it was dated so wasn't clear what it is like today).

A buzzing location for sure, great choice. Be prepared for some colourful people (in a good way). Covent Garden is a great location but will be on the expensive side. 10 Blocks sounds like a lot to me, we don't use blocks as a unit of measure here :o), but in reality it's a 10min, half mile walk. There are hundreds of restaurants everywhere you go, you won't be short on choice. Pret-a-Manger are excellent for fresh, healthy, tasty snacks, croissants and coffee. Try their 'Popcorn Bar', so nice. Carluccio's are an always reliable Italian food place. Try their version of the 'Full English Breakfast' the 'Colazione Magnifica' (ask for scrambled eggs), it's the best breakfast in town. 'Gourmet Burger Kitchen' is popular, but I've never been impressed with it myself. 'Byron Burgers' I find are better.

Hope you have a great time.
