St Paul's Cathedral, London 28 January 2026

On 28 January St Paul's Cathedral will open to Visitors at 1.30pm. Also the early Morning Prayer and Eucharist will be at St Vedast's Church, not in the Cathedral.
This is to allow for the legal ceremony, the Confirmation of Election. which marks the official date on which the new Archbishop of Canterbury takes up office. The Archbishop pays Homage to His Majesty, The King as Supreme Governor of the Church of England at this ceremony.

She will be installed [enthroned] at Canterbury Cathedral on 25 March 2026 (the Feast of the Annunciation).

This is the coolest thing ever to know that a woman will be Archbishop of Canterbury! (I had to Google it to make sure it wasn't just a typo.) Thanks for sharing this information. We were in Canterbury last year and had a wonderful, detailed tour of the Cathedral on our RS Southern England tour. Now I can picture this new milestone.
