St Ives, Cornwall today during Storm Pierrick

This was flooding today at St Ives when a storm surge caused by Storm Pierrick (the successor storm to Storm Kathleen) coincided with a spring tide- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJzW1kVAd8U

There has also been severe flooding along the south coast between Portsmouth and West Sussex.

shall we see if we can get all thr way through the alphabet before we have to start again?

Yet again today my plans to go out to view tulips were dashed by not only the rain but the incessant high winds

Portsmouth experienced its highest recorded tide today, the new multi million £ flood defences were well and truly put to the test, two of my favourite pubs were out of reach today!

Wow, good video! Amazing that the level of the sea is at the walk way. Will look for photos of Portsmouth!

Nigel...sorry you've been foiled in your tulip-watching!
