The summer attractions leaflets for the Lake District are starting to appear.
For anyone in the area this year Ullswater steamers are finally returning to pre Covid times.
If you fancy something a bit special they are doing evening cruises on Ullswater from Pooley Bridge on selected dates-
Every Friday from 26 May to 21 July there is a gin tasting cruise with live music,
and every Tuesday in July and August a Fish and Chip supper cruise, again with live music.
You would need to be staying in Pooley Bridge or have a rental car.

Also, although there is no need to book their daytime cruises you get a discount for doing so.
