We would love to visit Southwick House during our September 2023 visit to Portsmouth. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions to make this dream a reality?

Yes, needs to be arranged in advance but no real difficulties involved. I strongly recommend lunch at the nearby Golden Lion pub which is where Eisenhower and Montgomery would regularly spend some downtime during the planning stages of D-Day, the food is good and the pub full of character and history.
