Southampton cruise Port

Has anyone seen the Pilgrims/Forefathers monument at Southampton harbor? We are cruising from the Horizons dock and I’m wondering if we can walk from there.

Yes, the Pilgrim Fathers Memorial or Mayflower Memorial is located on the Town Quay opposite Mayflower Park, close to the roundabout leading to Western Esplanade. It's an easy walk.

The monument marks the spot where the Mayflower and Speedwell sailed from Southampton Quay in 1620, before large areas of the estuary were reclaimed last century. Mayflower Park itself would have been underwater until about 100 years ago.

It is a 50-foot tall column made of Portland stone, glass mosaic, and copper. It features a bronze model of the Mayflower on its dome. The column is topped by a white and gold cupola and a copper Mayflower weather vane.
