Hello all! We have advance tickets for Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbor on Sept. 15 and now learn that a railway strike/action is planned for that day. No details are available yet but I am trying to understand our options. Does an action mean no trains are running? If trains run and are delayed, would we be better off switching tickets to the following Monday and would that be allowed?
We are looking forward to train travel so a substitute bus trip would be disappointing; we do have some flexibility in our plans.
