Looking to walk the South Downs Way next June. Does anyone have recommendations on a company that books hotels and transfers luggage for this particular trail? I’m looking at Contours and Footprints in Sussex.

We walked the South Downs Way in 2018. We have booked five walks through Mickledore Travel and are obviously pleased with them. (Our first walk I arranged myself, and we've done two that they don't cover with other companies. These long distance walks are addicting!)

We used Contours a few years ago when we hiked the West Highland Way. I think they did an excellent job. The lodgings were very nice, the luggage was always at our next B&B, and they responded promptly to any inquiry when I was in the planning stage. One day we had to call for car service to take us to our lodging and that worked very well too. I would use them again to hike in the UK.
