Soho or Convent Garden Sat Night

We are arriving in London late Saturday night and can get to Soho or Convent Garden by 10 pm. I’m trying to figure out if there are restaurants open late in either of these areas. Ideally we want Indian food but not sure if they stay open.

Thank you !!

Masala Zone on Floral Street near Covent Garden is open until 11; I’ve eaten there several times without a reservation. Dishoom in Covent Garden is open until midnight (although the few times that I have walked by after theatre, there has been a long queue to get in and I have been too impatient to wait. There is also a Dishoom in Soho on Kingly St (near Carnaby St)which is open late. I had a late night meal there once, but they started vacuuming around me about 20 minutes before closing which I found quite annoying. I was there on a weeknight; perhaps they would be more considerate on a Saturday.

We have been eating at Punjab, on the edge of Covent Garden and Seven Dials, for 30 years! Their food is amazing and it is one of the oldest Indian restaurants in London. They are open until 11 on Saturdays. I recommend making a reservation even though it's late...it's suddenly become the "it" spot to have Indian food in London. There is a line outside for those who don't reserve. We went over the Christmas holiday to have dinner and much to our surprise, couldn't get in! We had no idea... :)

Thank you. I can now make a plan !!! I appreciate your advice.

By the way (and this is meant as helpful advice not pedantry) it’s Covent Garden rather than Convent Garden. It might be predictive text that led to the incorrect spelling in your post.
