Please advise. I'll be traveling from London to France this week! I was hoping to take the Channel Tunnel between the two countries. Tickets are much higher cost than I thought... I should have bought in advance. Does the discount card work for travel between London and Paris, for a 16 year old? Or is the SNCF discount card only valid for trains booked in and around France? thank so much!
The Carte Avantage does not work on Eurostar. It does work for some trips outside of France. Good luck.
Flixbus are always the cheap alternative- starting from £19.
However this week all their services are running via one of the three Dover to Calais ferry routes- varies day by day and service by service between P and O, DFDS and Irish Ferries.
Only the 2100 on Friday night is booked via the Eurotunnel vehicle shuttle.
Thank you both for your responses!
