Shuttle service from Manchester to LHR

Looking for a shuttle service for 2 adults and 2 children with 4 pieces of luggage from Manchester to London Heathrow on a Saturday leaving MC at about 4-6pm. Thanks !

Hopefully someone who lives in England might have an answer.

I'll be very surprised if there is a shuttle that does this. It's over a 3 and 1/2 hour drive.

Have you looked into taking a train? Or flying from Manchester to Heathrow?

You won’t find a shuttle service for that route (if by shuttle you mean a shared regular service).

I suggest you google Manchester taxis and see which local companies offer special rates on this route.

Do you have a flight that evening or are you staying overnight for a flight the following day?

Consider pre-booking a train from Manchester to Reading and then either bus to Heathrow or go by train from Reading to Hays & Harlington and then another train into Heathrow. A direct train (on current schedules) leaves Manchester for Reading at 9.27 (going to Bournemouth). www.nationalrail.co.uk

The other alternative is train from Manchester to London Euston and then out to Heathrow.

"Shuttles" aren't as popular in the UK as they are in the US, due to the many options on public transport, any that start up don't usually last long.

If you can, book an airplane out of Manchester to connect to wherever you are flying. It might mean connecting in Heathrow anyhow, or another gateway, but it will be less stressful than all those on-the-ground transfers. If you can book the flights on a single itinerary, your connections are protected.
