Most London train stations offer bag storage for 8.50 pounds/bag/day. If you take a direct train from Heathrow, you arrive at London Paddington station, which does have bag storage. You can check the options of other stations at http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/stations_destinations/default.aspx.
