Several Tube lines in London to shut temporarily next weekend (Nov. 11)

I just saw this in my newsfeed. Apologies if someone else has posted it, but I did not see anything.

Four London Underground lines are to be fully suspended for part of a weekend so that engineering works can be carried out, along with some others to be shut down in part. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cyr1rz1gv84o.amp

it is always a good idea when planning to use the transport network in London on a weekend - bus, tram or tube - to check the weekend status page which will tell you everything that will be out of the usual for the weekend - or any other day... there is always some change somewhere

They'll be closing on a Saturday because Sunday November 12 is Remembrance Day.

Catching a bus this morning and noticed flyers and posters about the Lord Mayor's Show on November 11th, and impacts on transit --

ENGINEERING WORKS ON SHOW DAY
On the day of the 2023 Lord Mayor’s Show the District, Circle and Jubilee lines will be closed until 3pm. The Northern and Central and Elizabeth lines remain open all day. Details and workarounds are available here or in the TfL journey planner.

ROADS CLOSED
Details vary slightly from year to year but essentially the whole City area is closed for most of the day of the Show, admitting no traffic at all. Buses are diverted while the Show is on and parking spaces suspended from the Friday afternoon. Roads will reopen as early as possible; most likely around 4pm.
