It looks like all rail strikes in September have been cancelled due to the death of Her Majesty the Queen.
How do you know this James? We think we will be affected by the September 26th strike on the day we return to Canada. Need to get to Gatwick for an 11am flight from London,
Ted
The planned strikes on the 15th and 17th are cancelled. I've not heard anything about later strikes being cancelled.
I got his information from a Forum used by those in the rail industry:> https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/september-rail-strikes-cancelled.236933/
PS. Anyone needing expert advice about anything to do with the railways could post a message on that forum in the relevant section.
According to nationralrail.co.uk, the four September strike days have been cancelled.

However, as I am writing this at 11:00 BST, no news organizations have announced the later days (26 & 27th).
All the RMT/TSSA/ASLEF strikes across the country this month have been cancelled in memory and respect of the late great Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. RIP.
Long Live the King.

That is the strikes on the 15th, 17th, and the two at the end of the month, 26th and 27th. No further strike dates have been announced.
I'll be visiting London beginning Sept 12 and had tickets to see the Beatles' childhood homes in Liverpool on Sept 16. Will it be difficult or impossible to get on a train to and from Liverpool? Maybe I should give up the idea of Liverpool. Thank you for your advice.
Margaret, there are no rail strikes. Trains will run as normal.
