We'll be coming into San Pancras on the Eurostar at 10:30pm in June. I assume 10:30 on a Friday night would still have plenty of activity and be safe. We will either walk or take a bus to the Crowne Plaza--ok to walk? thx. Elaine

Lots of people outside at 10:30pm. It's about a 15-20 minute walk so take the bus or taxi if you have lots of luggage.

only carryons and 2 capable older teens to assist. so we're fine to walk if it is safe.

It’s St (Saint) Pancras, not San Pancras btw! Although I love the idea of San Pancras as it sounds warm and Californian...
It’s just under a mile (I’m assuming you mean the Crowne Plaza Kings Cross?) It’s perfectly safe but it’s not the most glamorous part of London. I’d probably just jump in a cab from the St Pancras taxi rank at that time of night - not because of safety but just because it’s easy on arrival in a new city.
