I'm thinking of purchasing a Royal Historic Places membership, for myself and two daughters. When we arrive at one of the locations with our pre-booked tickets, will we be required to also show our ID's/passports? Just trying to figure out if we need to carry them with us.
Membership Card and email. They can ask for ID as the membership isn't transferrable, My wife and I have been members for years I don't think I've ever been ID'd.... YMMV
I joined RHP last year, joint with my friend. I then booked entry online for us to Kensington Palace, Tower of London and Hampton Court. I only had to show the QR code (or was it the print confirmation, I don’t remember) for entry. Did not need to show membership card or passport. Just had to go through security.
When you book with an HRP membership you will be sent a confirmation - I have never been asked for anything other than that. I do happen to carry the membership card but have never been asked to show it.
Thanks folks!
