Rough Guide "London Walks" updated this fall

Rough Guide has updated its guidebook "Walks in & Around London" and it will be released in mid-September of 2023. One of the nice things about Rough Guides (other than that is a very good guide book) is that if you buy the physical (paperback) book, you can also get a free download of the eBook, which will be very handy when you're out walking around in London!

UPDATE: As Frank II noted below, you can now open EPUB books on Kindle. Just follow the link he gives below. Very easy!
You can also open it in other book mediums such as Apple Books, Google Play and Adobe Digital eReader. https://www.amazon.com/Rough-Around-London-Travel-Guides/dp/1839058498/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=

It's perfect timing for me so I will definitely be ordering it.

ETA: I just took a peek at the Table of Contents and it also includes lots of walks outside London, like around Oxford, Blenheim, Kent, Sussex, Cambridge, the Fens and so on.

That looks like an excellent reference book! Handy to have it in an e-format as well!

Thanks for posting!

Mardee, thank you for posting this! I must have this book! I love discovering new areas of London.

Carrie, thanks for that link! I have those cards, but I see some other books and maps on that page that I need.
The cards are great. Each one has a walk with a map of a neighborhood, so you just need to take it along with you.

Ooh, Carrie, those look interesting - thanks for the links!

Pam, you're welcome! I've moved my enabling to books now, lol!

Rebecca, you will have the chance to check it out before me - I hope you'll pass on all the good places!

I haven't seen the London guide, but I loved Rough Guide back in the day. The Rough Guide to Amsterdam was invaluable pre-internet.

As a UK-centric aside, I got to know Rough Guide through the TV show on BBC2. It was presented by the wonderful Magenta Devine, the height of cool in her shades and angular bob. Gone too soon sadly.
